I am not a resident of Dramaville!

Did you know that 95% of the world population lives in this special place where fear drives every decision?

• Fear of failing
• Fear of being alone
• Fear or being rejected
• Fear of being worthless
• Fear of not being good enough
• Fear of being ridiculed and outcast
• Fear of parents, partner, society opinion

It doesn’t matter how awesome you are, how successful or how educated, these thoughts haunt your conscious. They come in many forms just like a pandemic, a plague of negative thoughts and limiting beliefs.

You might call them guilt, self-doubt, and impatience, but essentially they root from the core belief of “BEING ENOUGH”.

Now this place of self-pity or negative thoughts I call Dramaville!

So what is Dramaville?

Dramaville is all about letting fear drive you. It’s about being in a state that is emotionally draining. It can be the relationship you have with other people (maybe a boss, a partner, a friend), relationship with money, business, career or yourself. The list unfortunately is endless.

I know because I used to live there too and conquering our Dramaville thoughts is an ongoing battle that all of us must face.

For me, when I was able to realize that these fears were directing my life, I was able to go after and get the support I needed to transform my business, career and life.

I was able to overcome my fear of public speaking and eventually spoke at TEDx. I realized my dream lifestyle of travel and work was possible and traveled to over 45 countries. I was able to push my body and take part in the world’s toughest mountain bike race and raise $50,000 for women in East Timor.

So my question for you this week: are you aware of your Dramaville thoughts? And what are you doing to overcome them?
