I am super excited to be the young representative at the Xtraordinary Women Award 2013 Social Business Panel!
The panel is titled “Social Businesses – Doing Good Sustainably” and is organized by IWFCIS. The International Women’s Federation of Commerce and Industry (IWFCI) is one of the leading organizations in Singapore and provides women entrepreneurs access and resources to participate in business and networking opportunities in an ever-changing growing global marketplace.
IWFCI is a global business network made up of international trade opportunities of over 2 million affiliated members worldwide and gives businesswomen access to global markets through this unique chamber of commerce platform.
Part of the reason why I am also super excited is because it’s founder Ann Phua, who also founded Hemisphere Education, is one of the Wonder Women that I am interviewing for my book. Ann Phua is one of the most humble and remarkable women I have yet to meet. She has a natural knack for making anything she touches turn to gold. Ann is committed to also making a difference in the lives she touches with her businesses, including this incredible Hope Village which has become her passion project.
